Welcome to RailWA.

RailWA is a webpage featuring the trains that operate in Western Australia kindly hosted by Fotopic. Some may be familiar with us Phil & David Melling, the father/son team that established http://djukin.tripod.com/railwa/ & http://geraldtontrains.tripod.com/

This site is a combination of our former sites which are still at those addresses but with new photos. We will still feature photographs taken of current activities and those from our collection from the last 20 years or so. There is an emphasis on Geraldton as this is our hometown, but you will find that our travels allow us to get a wider coverage.

Please note that the railscene is constantly changing, ownership of companies & equipment changes as does numbers and colour schemes. Where possible we try to map out these changes.

A very big thank you to all that work for the railways for letting us record the trains (your workplaces) seen in these pages.

Always remember Safety First near rail lines and lookout for trains.
